Radiating Retina
This image of the vertebrate retina was commissioned as the theme art for the Second Workshop on Ultraviolet and Polarization Vision, held in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in June 2000. The image also graces the cover of the workshop proceedings volume, published as the July 15 2001 issue of the Journal of Experimental Biology, volume 204, number 14.
